Watching and waiting

I captured this juvenile alligator swimming around one of my favorite parks, Lettuce Lake. I’ve always loved seeking out wildlife during our walks and as my wife can attest to, I also enjoy sharing what I see with those with me. Constantly pointing out things and drawing their attention to them. What I’ve never been very good at is photographing the wildlife I spot. Therefore, one my goals  this year is to improve in this area and try to capture more of the wildlife I see when we’re out and about. I’ve already shared one such attempt here. Hopefully, with continued practice I’ll be sharing some of my pictures here with you.

So what about you, anything you’re trying to improve on or have any tips for my wildlife photography?
